Social Media/Marketing

Just as important as our advocacy and initiatives is promoting the work we conduct on behalf of women in housing.
Our Social Media/Marketing intern will be tasked with monitoring all of our social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, website) and will create effective marketing campaigns for our events and projects.
Extensive experience with social media is a must, as well as the keen ability to create engaging content that people are going to click on. With your ideas and expertise, every GWRCCC advertisement and blog will be viewed by thousands of people. This is a position for someone looking to utilize and expand
their social media and marketing experience to drive engagement.

Writing Intern

From writing government Requests for Comments (RFC), GWRCCC articles, interviews, statistical reports, marketing campaigns, blogs and more, we are looking for compelling writers and marketers. With data overload and our mission to be the go-to women’s housing ecosystem resource, candidates must be resourceful, passionate and driven by entrepreneurial DNA.

Graphic Design Intern

The opportunities and experience for the graphic design intern are invaluable. Our intern will assist the GWRCCC senior graphic designer with web development, social media design and the design of all email outreach. Photography and video editing is a plus. Must have experience in graphic design programs such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.

Accounting Intern

Our Accounting Intern must be knowledgeable in QuickBooks, and have strong communication skills and experience working in a fast-paced environment. Must possess skill set, including, but not limited to, payment processing, outreach for payment renewals, reviewing data for discrepancies and strong analytics.

Government Advocacy Intern

GWRCCC empowers communities and organizations in our advocacy relationships with the with local, state and federal agencies and governments. Our government relationships set us apart within our industry.
Our Government Advocacy Intern is a person interested in working with the government looking to get their foot in the door. You will be communicating with a variety of government entities as part of GWRCCC, and your job will be creating connections and identifying the ways in which GWRCCC can
work with these agencies to drive the success of advancing clean fuels and related technology, climate justice and equity.

This is a role for a motivated individual who is excited by the opportunity of working with government institutions and creating stellar results. You thrive under pressure, and the prospect of communicating with powerful leaders only serves to increase your zeal.

Administrative Intern

GWRCCC’s ability grow rests with a great administrative team that can get things done. Writing letters, emails, answering the phone, filing paperwork, planning special events, and helping to keep the office running in a highly effective manner are fundamental duties that we value at GWRCCC. Interns receive great office experience that prepares them for the world of work.

Environmental/Green Jobs

The Clean Cities and Energy Intern will gain valuable experience working with a public-private partnership non-profit organization that works to promote the use of clean domestic fuels to assure our nation’s and region’s climate security, energy independence and clean air by reducing
our dependence on gasoline and diesel transportation fuels.

The intern will help conduct research on relevant policies and grants, draft written and oral testimonies, policy memos, aid with grant writing, reach out to partners to advertise events, and other office duties to keep the coalition running. We are looking for compelling writers and marketers who are excited about the clean energy movement and who are resourceful, passionate and driven by entrepreneurial DNA.

Communications and Media

The Clean Cities Communications and Media Intern will gain valuable experience working with a public-private partnership non-profit organization that works to promote the use of clean domestic fuels to assure our nation’s and region’s climate security, energy independence and clean air by reducing our dependence on gasoline and diesel transportation fuels.

The intern will help elevate GWRCCC’s social media presence through monitoring and creating content for Instagram/Twitter/LinkedIn posts, write blog posts, and work on the website to make the content more relevant and helpful to constituents. They will also create effective marketing campaign materials for our events and projects. We are looking for someone who has experience in graphic design programs such as Canva, Adobe.

Climate Mayors

The Climate Mayors seeks a Policy Director to support bolder equitable climate actions by Congress, Federal agencies, and state and local government. The Policy Director is expected to work with leadership to set policy priorities, work with the Biden Administration on identified priorities, organize policy briefings, draft policy communications, and collaborate with policy directors and intergovernmental affairs staff from partner organizations and federal agencies.
